2024 Grand Rapids mayoral election
The 2024 Grand Rapids mayoral election will take place on November 5, 2024, to elect the mayor of
Grand Rapids, Michigan , concurrently with other
2024 Michigan elections , including the
2024 United States presidential election ,
United States Senate election in Michigan , and elections to the Michigan state legislature. This is the first election for mayor to take place in an even-year after Grand Rapids voters approved Prop 1 in 2020, which moved city elections to even years.
Incumbent
Rosalynn Bliss , the city's first female mayor, is term limited and unable to seek re-election.
