The
U.S. 8th Circuit Court of Appeals grants the
NFL's request for a temporary stay of the injunction that had ended the league's
lockout of its players. Arguments on a permanent stay are expected to be heard next week.[1]
The Grizzlies win a playoff series for the first time in franchise history, and also become only the second No. 8 seed to knock out a No. 1 seed since the NBA expanded the first round to best-of-seven.

U.S. federaljudge issues an injunction against the
NFL, which temporarily ends the league's
