Shushtar County (
Persian : شهرستان شوشتر ) is in
Khuzestan province,
Iran . Its capital is the city of
Shushtar .

Demographics
Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the county's population was 182,282 in 37,656 households.
[4] The following census in 2011 counted 191,444 people in 45,360 households.
[5] At the 2016 census, the county's population was 192,028 in 50,878 households,
[2] by which time
Miyan Ab Rural District and
Miyan Ab-e Shomali Rural District had been separated from the
Central District in the establishment of
Miyan Ab District .
