Qaleh Tall (
Persian : قلعه تل )
[a] is a city in, and the capital of,
Qaleh Tall District of
Bagh-e Malek County ,
Khuzestan province,
Iran .

At the 2006 census, its population was 8,604 in 1,704 households, when it was in the
Central District .
[5] The following census in 2011 counted 10,052 people in 2,346 households.
[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 10,698 people in 2,716 households.

In April 2023,
Qaleh Tall Rural District and the city of Qaleh Tall were separated from the district in the establishment of Qaleh Tall District, which was divided into two rural districts, with the city as its capital.
