Eugenol synthase (

enzyme with
systematic name eugenol:NADP+ oxidoreductase (coniferyl ester reducing) .

catalyses the following
chemical reaction :
eugenol + a
carboxylate + NADP+

The enzyme acts in the reverse direction.
