Novel/Novella/Short story
This template is good. The distinction between short story, novel and novella is confusing. We could base it on Wikipedia's definition of these terms, but it would be original research. Instead I suggest making "Novel" its own list, and combine novella and short story into a single list. It remains somewhat ambiguous, but the distinction between novel and novella is a lot more clear than between novella and short story, as it is currently. --

It's listed in both sections: novel and novellas, and short stories. someone should decide which it is. —Preceding

After nearly three years of heated discussion, I will be the one to remove it from short stories.
