Let's add a picture, This guy has a cool look and a picture to convey that would be really nice. Some links at the bottem of the Xavier Rudd article has some links with pictures. Copyright's might be an issue. Xavier himself could maybe even send a pic by email to someone who writes to him.
I just added an image I took at a show in Philly last year. New to Wiki so hope it's ok. -ss
Is Xavier in any way related to Shadow Foreign Minister Kevin Rudd? They look kind of similar, and Rudd is not all that common a surname. Would love to know if anyone can shed light on this? I elliot 11:04, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
No, he's not.
I am not familiar with the performances listed under the live performances section, but I am sure some are more significant than others. Can someone that is familiar with Xavier Rudd's music and the festivals listed please reduce the section? We don't need to see his touring schedule for hte last 2 years. ALSO- Is supporting slot the same as opener? The freddinator 21:30, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
The image Image:FoodInTheBelly.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

If each of his albums have their own main articles, then why are there such large sections devoted to each of them here in this article. In fact, if they have main articles of their own, then there's no need to have explanations here at all, just have the discography as usual. Anyone else interested in simply removing those explanations if there's already that information elsewhere? Brendan OhUiginn ( talk) 00:11, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
I went through and cleared out a lot of the stuff here as per the discussion on this page. I might have gone a bit overboard, but since it is a living person I decided to err on the side of remove. I cut out the extended discography, since the albums have articles, a link to the main is enough. The instruments were covered in the infobox, so I pulled them out too. I realize I used a chainsaw to hack this article up, so if you think anything should be added back, feel free to add it back. Addionne ( talk) 00:39, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
Despite the lede saying Rudd is notable for being a musician, only about 10 lines are devoted to his music. The bulk of the article is about his personal life and political opinions. It reads more like a fan page rather than an encyclopedia article. Can we get more specific, sourced details about his music? Ashmoo ( talk) 09:54, 2 February 2016 (UTC)
