Rangasyd: Thank you for adding Woodford Academy to this site. Unfortunately many of the references and citations in the source material used are either secondary or hearsay. The WA Management committee has spent several years creating an updated version of the Academy history which has been accepted by the Blue Mountains Cit (sic.) Council and Heritage NSW as the most current and accurate history of the building - it is listed here :
"The following supplementary historical material was provided by the local Branch of the National Trust of Australia (NSW) as part of the 2017 Heritage Review (ref NTA correspondence dd 30th January 2017)". We would attempt to correct the many errors in the current listing ourselves but we are not familiar with the medium or the editing process. The updated Heritage listing adresses all the issues including the incorrect attribution of the site as a hospital by Dr. Mark Henry Long (He was a chemist and his wife ran the building as a Guesthouse while he was bankrupt). Could you replace the incorrect information harvested from the old version of Heritage NSW with the current listing? Thank you.

Dear Woodford Acadamey (sic.) Management Committee, I would like to suggest two points:
You work out how to edit Wikipedia.
Here is a good place to start.
You make the edits directly to
Woodford Academy, citing the references that you claim to have.
Thank you for your prompt response and suggestion that we 'work out how to edit Wikipedia'.
As we stated we are not skilled at editing Wiki entries and as as one of our members has already attempted but been rebuffed in their attempt to correct the errors we do not have the skills to take on this task. We are extremely skilled in the history and research of this institution though and our 'claim' is backed up by the fully cited listing on the NSW Heritage Review. It is frustrating to see errors and secondary source attributions being cited as facts. It negates any claims that this medium has to accuracy.
As you took it upon yourself to copy and paste the earlier incorrect Heritage listing could you either delete the Woodford Acdemy listing or copy and paste the more current one.
