Support, but not because the current spelling is incorrect (both spellings are, in fact, correct; they are just different transliteration variants), but because it is a more commonly used variant (as well as one that is a more consistent choice within Wikipedia). As far as spellings of human names go, WP:RUS cannot override
WP:COMMONNAME, and the "non-Russian origin" remark refers first and foremost to toponyms, not to human names (and especially not to a person's heritage!).—
