Teeth & Tongue → Jess Cornelius – Teeth & Tongue was the moniker of musician Jess Cornelius and the name under which she recorded and performed for many years, however, when publications (such as
news.com.au and
The Sydney Morning Herald, or
The Guardian) were writing about Teeth & Tongue, they often used the name ‘Jess Cornelius’ interchangeably. Cornelius has released music under several names before and after using the name Teeth & Tongue, and is now working and releasing under her own name. Therefore, ‘Teeth & Tongue’ should be a sub-section of the ‘Jess Cornelius’ page, rather than the other way around. Currently, ‘Jess Cornelius’ redirects to 'Teeth & Tongue'. 'Jess Cornelius' is mentioned on other Wiki pages, such as

Comment – the situation is not as simple as you describe. Teeth & Tongue was used for the musical group, of which Cornelius was the founding mainstay member. Other members have included James Harvey, Jade McInally, Marc Regueiro-McKelvie and Damian Sullivan. Four albums were released under that artist name.
WP:COMMONNAME is applicable but "Teeth & Tongue" has too many non-relevant ghits (see
here) for a useful comparison with "Jess Cornelius" (see
here). Furthermore, the artist's notability was established under the performance name and most reliable sources, which are already being used in this article have Teeth & Tongue in the title albeit many also refer to Cornelius in the content. Cornelius appears to have decided to perform under her own name since late 2016 or early 2017: has she released any albums under that name? I haven't yet decided whether I agree with the move or not, as I'm still considering my position.

Keep - After working on the article, adding references and material, I have decided that Jess Cornelius does not exactly equal Teeth & Tongue. The latter is more common in articles in reliable sources on the band and was used up to February 2017. Redirecting to Cornelius ignores the contributions of other long-term members, especially Marc Regueiro-McKelvie on guitar.
