In the Russian language version it says this particular ship is undergoing modernisation since 1999... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.52.33.1 ( talk) 14:13, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
Was the ship decomissioned in 2005, if so, that information would be something to add. Marauder09 ( talk) 17:42, 27 July 2009 (UTC)

In Russia and late Soviet Union, ships, named after persons, must be named by "first name + surname" (civilians, like "Yuri Andropov") or "rank+surname" (military, like "Admiral Nakhimov", not "Nakhimov" or "Pavel Nakhimov". If ship's namesaker was Mikhail Kalinin, ship must be named "Mikhail Kalinin", not simple "Kalinin". Ship named after city of Kalinin (yes, named after Mikhail Kalinin )) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.149.142.101 ( talk) 18:18, 19 November 2017 (UTC)
