This article could really benefit from a current picture of the Order. If anyone can obtain a copyright from one of the websites with the current image or simply upload their own it would be greatly appreciated. JRWalko 17:55, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

Is it a real person Andrei Yakovlevich ? I found nothing in available sources. 156.17.32.7 ( talk) 08:48, 10 March 2023 (UTC)
I've run into a reference to a British army officer, Lt.-Col. Patrick Dalmahoy McCandlish (1871–1942), of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, having received the "Order of the White Eagle, 5th class" for some reason or other, in addition to his OBE, VC, and DSO. No idea why he would have received a high Polish honour, nor how many classes there are and what "5th" is in the hierarchy. — SMcCandlish ☏ ¢ 😼 06:18, 27 August 2023 (UTC)
