Missing In Action?
"Nothing further was heard of the party after that date." - What does this mean? On the surface, it sounds like nothing was ever heard from the three men ever again, which means they would be listed as
Missing In Action. If that's the case, the article needs to specify that. I suppose through vague writing, the intent is that the equipment never worked, or since the mission failed, the three men returned to Darwin, or were picked up, but the article doesn't provide any information on the fate of the three people involved. This short article would be significantly improved by adding that detail. -
