Alright I'm no historian of aviation but I've gathered this much information from books and online. Alot of the links to non-existing wiki articles can probably be fixed if someone knows what the real names of these companies are because the transliterations of the cyrillic I dont think is very accurate. There is information floating about the wikipedia in about " Kamov is merging with Mil and Rostvertol to form Oboronprom Corp. in 2006." and i've found further information about a merger. seems some firms included within MAPO, the Mig section i think, will be merging with Sukhoi in 2006.
