I believe this article should be merged with Yarra Trams, for a number of reasons. Firstly KDI will be retaining the yarra trams name, secondly it simply doesn't warrant an article of its own.

Perhaps we should have an article on Yarra Trams (1999 - 2009) when it was operated by: Transdev & Transfield Services and and a separate article for Yarra Trams operated by KDR (which consists of: Keolis & Downer EDI Rail).

Some thoughts
V/Line has everything in one article even though it has been a brand of government authority, a brand of a private company, and then a corporation that happened to be government owned. If a 'KDR Melbourne' page would exist it would only really cover who the members of the consortium are, perhaps it would be better redirected to 'Yarra Trams', that article having the history section divided up by owner.

Good suggestion Wongm, however I see your idea of having two sections in the one article as pertentually confusing. I propose having two seperate articles, one article named Yarra Trams (MetroLink Victoria Pty Ltd) or Yarra Trams (1999 - 2009) and one named Yarra Trams (KDR Melbourne Pty Ltd).

I am proposing we merge the article on
KDR Melbourne into this article. Per [
this Herald Sun article], it states "The name Yarra Trams will be retained by the new operator, KDR, but the branding will also be updated, costing $15 million." Thus, a merge may be required. Leaving this for discussion --

TransdevTSL has it's own page, mainly because it also runs Shorelink and Brisbane Ferries. Unless KDR Melbourne are likely to start new projects, I think the page should be rolled in to Yarra Trams. I don't see the need for two separate Yarra Trams pages, TransdevTSL's ownership would fall under the history heading and if more detail on that is required it could go on TransdevTSL's page.--
