I'm positive the invaders in 'Tomorrow' series are Indonesians. What does anyone else think? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.87.39.135 ( talk • contribs) 10 March 2006
I wasn't proposing to describe them as Indonesians on the page, quite agree that it would be unsubstantiated. However this seems like a notable gap in the Tomorrow books to me. The books stress realism. If my country were being invaded, I'd at least speculate about where the invaders came from. So, I'm interested in whether this topic has arisen elsewhere. (Floyd)
I was thinking along the lines of Egyptian, but then in "The other side of Dawn" the man chasing Ellie in the train has a "white face". I'm thinking it could be Russian- because they don't use a typical English alphabet. But then it could be Kaazakhstan or someplace similar. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.160.127.33 ( talk) 22:59, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
Does anyone else think that John Marsden's books should be much more covered? I think he is such a prolific writer, that he and his books deserve better on this site
Not sure this should be low importance on Children's literature. Take a look at the awards he has won and the sheer number of books he has sold not only in Australia but throughout the world. Perhaps he isn't of high importance, but I think this article should be give some higher level of importance? Teachingwedge ( talk) 07:16, 20 October 2010 (UTC)
Does anyone know any firm dates on when John quit his job became a full time author? If so can they include it in the appropriate section.
I know John ran writing workshops for years before he set up his school but I can't find any hard dates. Seems like something that should be included in the later career section. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 110.142.30.22 ( talk) 03:44, 7 July 2012 (UTC)
