The article describes him as a descendant of the architect Inigo Jones. This is impossible, as Inigo Jones never married or left any descendants. EricWR ( talk) 03:27, 21 March 2011 (UTC)
That sounds like a good solution. I believe the biography I read was Inigo: The Life of Inigo Jones, Architect of the English Renaissance (2004) by Michael Leapman but it was several years ago so I'm not sure. I no longer have a copy of it. Any biography could be cited saying he never married. I believe Leapman's book addressed the question of descendants (concluding in the negative) but I don't have a copy at hand to verify it. Whatever the source, while illegitimate children cannot be ruled out definitely, none were ever acknowledged in his lifetime and none ever came forward afterwards.
