This section is totally irrelevant to this article. There hasn't been any law enforcing using "ov" and there isn't any law enforcing removing of it. The whole issue has nothing to do with "Human rights".

Here is the official comment by Rahmonov's media relation office (according to ozodi.org
[1]):
"ин иқдоми раиси ҷумҳур ба маънои саросарӣ шудани чунин иқдом нест. Ва тоҷикӣ кардани номҳо ихтиёри ҳар шаҳрванд аст."
Translation: Presiden't decision is not about enforcing it as a nationwide change. And the Tajikifying of the name is up to the will of each citizen.

Unfortunately as it is attributed to a reliable source, we probably have to include it. I have "attributed" it to the individual who is writing it, and added the presidents perspective. I also added 'sic' where he spelt the name incorrectly. -

The content of this article is not very objective or comprehensive. It acts as a list of all human rights violations in the country (mostly unsourced), whereas articles such as this should act more as a discussion... -- Pingumeister(
