I'm done. Obviously this section could be expanded greatly with other sources and more detailed information but there is now at least enough information for readers to both confirm this is the talk show in question and get a good understanding of the incident.

Maybe should add that the nurse who put the call through was not a native English speaker and was not picking up on the "appalling accents" that the radio station is trotting out as an excuse. — Preceding

@Bribieisland4x4hire - The nurse who put the call through was not a native English speaker, she was from India. The matter is widely discussed in Indian media.

Hi,
Please remove the current team from the Hot30 Countdown page as the show now ceases to exist and all employees have been suspended.
Not done: no need to remove them at this stage. From what I've seen and heard it's been suspended not cancelled, so whilst they aren't currently presenting they are still part of the current team. If you can provide
reliable sources which say otherwise please let us know. Callanecc (

Even if the current presenters never return to the show, they should never be 'removed' from the article. Wikipedia records events, and retains history. As new events occur descriptions of previous situations are retained in WP.

I don't think moving it here changes anything, there will be still undue weight towards an isolated incident. I firmly believe that if split into its own article (probably with a recentism tag stuck on it) this information, although may initially be 'a rough draft', it will stand the test of time. ~~

I agree that there is enough material to justify a separate article and the fact that there will be long-term consequences is certain. Also a separate article would be a more neutral place to hold information. I'm neutral as to where material should go if not split out, although it should be mainly in one place.

I dont agree, leave it where it is. Anyone reading about 2dayFM would want to be fully aware of the facts, the history and behaviour of the radio station. All facts should be laid out for all to see, not "Merged" away so they are hidden. — Preceding

Should be a separate article..Suicide of Saldalha. There are Murder of _____ articles.
I propose to create a new article styled "Death of Jacintha Saldanha" with the information already available in the article and scope for further developing the article , as per Siuenti. There should also be a link in 2 day FM article.

I believe further discussion was needed regarding the article title before carrying out your proposal. For the article to be notable the focus of it shouldn't be Saldanha's death. It should be written as an article about the hoax phone call, the tragic repercussions of it (at that point focussing on what happened to Saldanha) and the effect it is having on the use of prank phone calls and the radio industry in general. The style should match
this article and have a similar format for the title. ~~
