A fact from Garratt Road Bridge appeared on Wikipedia's
Main Page in the Did you know column on 30 December 2014 (
check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that Garratt Road Bridge is the longest extant timber bridge in Western Australia?
"BRIDGING THE SWAN". The West Australian (Perth, WA : 1879 - 1954). Perth, WA: National Library of Australia. 15 July 1932. p. 20. Retrieved 22 December 2014. - has good map that could be recreated to show the different options, note there are two roads call guildford road one NOR and SOR(now Great Eastern Hwy)
some bigger range of piccies with a horrible range of terminology (bridge one, bridge two, west bridge, tall bridge, old bridge and so on) now on commons as well

actually its a bit more complicated - the history of bayswater (battye this arvo) suggests it was also known as racecourse bridge
