YUG/SRB/SCG
I don't know the history of the argument, but FIBA
here has Yugoslavia as one until 2002, SCG 2003 until 2006, and then Serbia on its own from 2007 on.

In previous Eurobaskets, and FIBA world championships, eliminated teams are classified by placement in their group after win/loss record. So just like Estonia being ranked above the Netherlands in 2015, the Czech republic should be ranked above Israel (5th place ahead of 6th despite even record and poorer +/-). Likewise Germany should be ranked above Italy because they finished higher in their group. I emphasize should because places 5 through 8 have never been settled by ranking in a EUROBASKET before. The only rules I could find that address this are from the 2014 World Cup
page 16 which states that to decide ranking the win/loss ranking from the group stage comes first, and then placement in their group. If there is something new in the media guide, or on the official site that differs, I apologize, but I think using existing FIBA rules instead of opinion is better until it is certain.

I'd like to prioritize my time to preparing other game photos for upload, so if anyone would like to help with adding the photos to articles or adding proper categories in Wikimedia Commons, that would be awesome! I have photos of Greece, Poland and Iceland coming up as well, and photos from the friendly between Finland and Russia that was played before the tournament. --
