Incorrect etymology
Of course, it is important to mention the etymology of the describing author (and it is not necessary to remove the etymology of Rule), but the etymology (Rule, 2012, p. 102): "The name is derived from the Latin aurifer ‘gold-bearing’ in reference to the new taxon being located in the goldfields of north-central Victoria." can be considered as highly unlikely. Aurifodina is the Latin word for
gold-mine, derived from aurum and
fodina. In the not too distant future, this should be corrected.
