I removed the following text with ostensibly updated numbers from the Greg Mortensen article:
As of October 2009, Central Asia Institute has established over 141 schools in rural Afghanistan and Pakistan, which provide education to 62,000 students including over 48,000 girls. <ref>{{cite web|last=Boss |first=Suzie|url=http://www.edutopia.org/webinar-april |title='The Power of One: Greg Mortenson's Mission to Promote Peace through Project Learning |publisher=edutopia.org |date=2010-04-15 |accessdate=2010-04-15}}</ref>
I would have updated the numbers here, but that article doesn't actually give those numbers. — Sebastian 15:55, 22 April 2010 (UTC)
I have added the {{ advert}} tag to this article because of the way the article applauds the organization and its founders. To become WP:NPOV, the article would need to address the question of the organization's impact, its critics, its relationship to other organizations, and more overall context. These links may be of some help in this process: [1], [2]. Please be bold and update the article to achieve a more neutral point of view. Thanks, Vectro ( talk) 03:21, 27 June 2010 (UTC)
CBS News released a devastating report regarding Mortenson's accountability and credibility on 4/17/11. I posted a note to that effect which was improved by another Wikipedia contributor. I went back to correct my URL and added the access date. I thank the poster who edited my text. Activist ( talk) 01:42, 18 April 2011 (UTC)

I've proposed merging Pennies for Peace into this article. Pennies for Peace is a project of the CAI and has no independent notability. Much of the info in that article duplicates the material here, so there's considerable overlap. This article is fairly short so the merged material, minus the duplicated material, would not lengthen this article excessively. Will Beback talk 07:43, 19 April 2011 (UTC)
The article says that Charity Navigator gave the group favorable ratings, while the American Institute of Philanthropy and the Better Business Bureau’s Wise Giving Alliance did not WhisperToMe ( talk) 01:15, 27 April 2011 (UTC)

I took info from Mortenson article relevant to CAI. Really there should be more cross-referencing of the two, but as it is they duplicate info that is relevant to both. This includes 2014 Today show interview, and 2015 improvements.
