Oppose I don't see evidence that reliable sources call this camera the "Blackmagic Cinema Camera 2.5K", just the "Blackmagic Cinema Camera"
[1][2], which would make sense since the official product name doesn't include "2.5K"
[3]. Some people in online forums do call it the "Blackmagic Cinema Camera 2.5K" or the "BMCC 2.5K", but those aren't reliable sources. I get that there's some ambiguity between the first product of the
Cinema Camera line and the line itself, but I don't think this type of renaming is the right way to resolve it (if it needs to be resolved at all)—this is like moving
iPhone (1st generation) to "iPhone 2G" or "iPhone 1".
