What is the best way to link back to this page from each of the individual cyclists ? A category which could be listed as a sub category of Category:Tour de France cyclists or some other way ? Find bruce ( talk) 02:45, 26 July 2015 (UTC) reply

Notes for table format

Just some quick notes to help any editor adding new cyclists

For the year column, use "rowspan="n"|" where n= number of cyclists for that year

For the Cyclist column, use the template:sortname, "{{sortname|first|last|target}}" so that the column sorts by last name, first name

For the final position, use template:sort so the numbers sort correctly, using 3 digits eg Evans in 2011 was {{sort|001|1}} To sort DNF etc so that a DNF on stage 1 is lowest, use "{{sort|D-70|DNF - 15}}" where the sort number is from the following table

Stage DNF, DSQ DNS
1 98 99
2 96 97
3 94 95
4 92 93
5 90 91
6 88 89
7 86 87
8 84 85
9 82 83
10 80 81
11 78 79
12 76 77
13 74 75
14 72 73
15 70 71
16 68 69
17 66 67
18 64 65
19 62 63
20 60 61
21 58 59
