I am the author of the article, and I would like to contest the suggested speedy deletion for alleged lack of significance. The journal Australian Quarterly was in fact established in 1929 and as such is Australia's oldest and longest-running political science journal. I have now amended the article to explain this significance.

I am shocked that this article has been listed for speedy deletion. It should not be deleted, as it is one of Australia's oldest publications. The article needs to be kept due to its historic significance. Thanks, Lester00:03, 10 December 2007 (UTC)reply
