Bavanat (

Central District of
Bavanat County ,
Fars province,
Iran , serving as capital of both the county and the district.
[5] It has an altitude of 2,857 metres (9,373 ft).

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 9,645 in 2,638 households.
[7] The following census in 2011 counted 10,670 people in 3,030 households.
