Kaftarak Rural District ( Persian: دهستان كفترك) [3] is in the Central District of Shiraz County, Fars province, Iran. It is administered from the city of Shiraz. The previous capital of the rural district was the village of Nasrabad. [4]
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 32,436 in 8,287 households. [5] There were 10,043 inhabitants in 2,815 households at the following census of 2011. [6] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 14,485 in 4,438 households. The most populous of its 18 villages was Mah-e Firuzan, with 3,203 people. [2]
