Esfandan (
Persian : اسفندان )
[a] is a village in, and the capital of,
Esfandan Rural District
[4] of the
Central District of
Komijan County ,
Markazi province,
Iran .
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,394 in 321 households.
[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,171 people in 379 households.
[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,188 people in 265376households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.
