Dimethylsulfone reductase ( EC 1.8.1.17) is an enzyme. [1] [2] This enzyme catalyses the following chemical reaction

dimethyl sulfoxide + H2O + NAD+ dimethyl sulfone + NADH + H+

Dimethylsulfone reductase is a molybdoprotein.
