Chaybasar-e Sharqi Rural District ( Persian: دهستان چايپاسار شرقي) [3] is in the Central District of Poldasht County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran. [4] Its capital is the village of Eshqabad. The previous capital of the rural district was the village of Yowla Galdi. [5]
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population (as a part of the former Poldasht District of Maku County) was 6,132 in 1,214 households. [6] There were 6,963 inhabitants in 1,604 households at the following census of 2011, [7] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Poldasht County. The rural district was transferred to the new Central District. [4] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 6,331 in 1,500 households. The most populous of its 16 villages was Shidi, with 881 people. [2]
