The Canadian SailGP Team was founded by Fred Pye and debuted in the 3rd season of the SailGP competition alongside Switzerland SailGP Team in 2022. [2] [3] Funding obligations were not met and ownership of the team was taken back by the league. Team Driver, Phil Robertson, announced in July 2023 that a transfer of ownership had been accepted but no further updates have been given. [4] [5] [6] [7]
