Alysicarpus is a genus of flowering plants in the legume family, Fabaceae. It is distributed in tropical and subtropical regions [2] of Africa, Asia, and Australia. [1] Species are known generally as moneyworts. [3] Unusually for legumes, the leaves are simple (not compound).
