She made her literary debut at the age of 20 with the novel Tova, for which she received the
Slangbellan prize. She wrote the book as an 18-year-old, and it depicts a 17-year-old girl's problem-filled summer, where she is let down by her mother and abandoned by her boyfriend. The trilogy about the eight-year-old Malin (2001-2003) is everyday realism, but she has also written art adventures and fantasy books. She was nominated to the
Nordic Council Children and Young People's Literature Prize in 2021.[2]
