Yayvantepe ( Syriac: ܩܪܛܡܝܢ, romanized: Qarṭmin, [2] Kurdish: Qertmîn, Arabic: قرطمين) is a neighbourhood in the municipality and district of Midyat, Mardin Province in Turkey. [3] The village is populated by Arabs and Kurds. [4]
It had a population of 977 in 2022 and is located southwest of the Mor Gabriel Monastery. [1]
The two groups living in the village are Arabs and Kurds of which the Arabs are Seyids. Both groups speak Arabic. [4]
