Behavioral ecology is a subfield of both ecology and evolutionary biology, incorporating ecological and evolutionary principles to understand how animal behavior has evolved, and the ways in which animals use behavior to solve social and ecological problems. The course will cover major topics in behavioral ecology and will use these topics to introduce the conceptual framework of the field.
Students will be contributing knowledge related to the various subfields of behavioral ecology.

Submit the survey with your preferred article choices and the explanations as to why you prefer these to your instructors. Go to "Sakai>Resources>Class Info" to find a document with the list of available topics each with a brief description and—within the document—a link to the survey.
