College Composition I is a writing-based course where students develop skills in analysis; they use sources to support an argument. Students read and write in a variety of genres, culminating with a major source-based argument paper. I will be using Wikipedia to help students learn critical thinking and research skills while contributing to the database. They will gain an understanding of the knowledge-creation process. Their final argumentative paper will be to defend or refute Wikipedia's use in academia.
