Sorry to complain but the Visual Editor is very slow. It needs to be faster. Kamran Mackey ( talk) 01:02, 1 February 2013 (UTC)
When seeking to review and save the work we are given two choices: "Something is wrong" and "Looks good to me". In fact "Something is wrong" actually means "Report a problem". Please re-title the button. Otherwise it leads the first time user to think they can go back to make a correction to their editing effort. Thanks.-- S. Rich ( talk) 02:26, 30 December 2012 (UTC)
Linking isn't a major problem unless you want to pipe a link, in which case it's impossible. I randomly picked Lysgårdsbakken to make an edit (no saving changes). Chose the phrase "small hill" and pretended I wanted to pipe it to Summer Olympics. I choose the link button, and begin typing Summer Olympics; however, it autofills with "Spain" so I write "Spainummer olympics". If I attempt to delete letters, it autofills and replaces them. I figured out a workaround, which is to leave the word Spain and begin typing what you need after the first letter. I.e. Spain→Supain→Summerpain→Summer Olympicspain and then remove the remaining letters "pain". Ryan Vesey 19:59, 9 February 2013 (UTC)
These features should be implemented:
Have templates turn into HTML when VE is activated. Gamewizard71 ( talk) 00:27, 15 February 2013 (UTC)

This is a great step forward for making Wikipedia more welcoming to new editors. I look forward to the day when the other tools and templates (cite, etc.) are integrated into this so I can use it more regularly. Thank you for prioritizing the user experience! Visualeditor looks very promising. For all the areas that it cannot edit and currently gives a large box with green stripes for when I move my mouse over them, could it give a textbox to edit the wikicode instead as a fallback mechanism? This way we would not have to switch between the visualeditor and normal editing all the time. -- WS ( talk) 08:57, 19 February 2013 (UTC)
This one looks particularly bad in Safari 6 (without having done any editing) https://en.wikipedia.org/?title=Phil_Thompson&oldid=535300833
