Thivierr ( talk · contribs) – Rob, who officially joined us on January 6, 2005, has been a contributor to Wikipedia for approximately one year now. Since registering, Rob has accrued over 11,500 edits, ~2,500 of them in the Project and Project talk namespace. [1] During the WP:SCH discussion, Rob was an instrumental figure in achieving an agreeable guideline for inclusion, and is following through on this resolution by actively merging stubs which do not meet the consensus-approved criteria. Rob spends a notable amount of time participating in AFD discussion, vetting articles for accuracy, tagging image and article copyvios, and removing questionable and unreferenced content. Additionally, as a hobbyist photographer, he has also uploaded a good number of photographs to Wikipedia, releasing them into the public domain. [2] I believe that Rob now has the experience necessary to become an extraordinary administrator, and it is my honour to nominate him with my strongest possible support. Candidate, please indicate acceptance of the nomination here:

Thanks a lot for this nomination, I appreciate. But, at the moment I'm going to decline. This is something I would really like in the future, but only after I've been here longer (I've been around for a year technically, but really active only a few months). But thanks again. -- Rob 20:56, 16 December 2005 (UTC) reply
