Oppose

  1. Oppose Impressive amount of edits for a month, but would prefer to see you here for a month or two longer to see more of how you interact with other users and how you understand policy -- pgk( talk) 21:17, 14 January 2006 (UTC) reply
  2. Oppose. I sometimes bend my 3-month-minimum rule, but one month, busy as it may have been, is simply not enough to absorb the culture and community standards on WP, even for a fast learner like Naconkantari. A good vandal-fighter, but I'm worried by the fact that he is a self-proclaimed deletionist, which may be a bigger issue than the short time here. Owen× 21:40, 14 January 2006 (UTC) reply

Neutral

  1. Naconkantari is a good vandal fighter, but I would like to see more article edits by him before I can support. He has very few article contributions and only 40 for article talk pages. Also I don't think that one month is enough to become admin so wait a few more months. -- a.n.o.n.y.m t 21:34, 14 January 2006 (UTC) reply

Questions for the candidate
Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia in this capacity. Please take the time to answer a few generic questions to provide guidance for voters:

1. What sysop chores, if any, would you anticipate helping with? Please check out Category:Wikipedia backlog, and read the page about administrators and the administrators' reading list.
A. I would like to try my hand at everything that being an sysop entails, including monitoring AfD's, NPOV disputes, and anything else that is needed. I am particularly strong in reverting vandalism, and am a member of the Counter Vandalism Unit. I spend a few hours every day helping out on RC patrol and have found and reported many vandals.
2. Of your articles or contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
A. I am pleased with the amount of contributions that I have made in a short amount of time. Since I created my account a little over one month ago, I have made over 6000 edits, with a large part of that number attributed to reverting vandalism. I feel that having sysop privileges will allow me to greater enhance my abilities to combat vandalism and allow me to broaden my scope of editing by participating in other activities.
3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
A. I have not been in many conflicts with other users, and the times that I have, the situation is usually resolved to both mine and the other person's satisfaction. Examples of these instances are available on my talk page.
