None of the merged content is still in use, and the section is gone.

- I was about to say "keep for the attribution", but the "merge" was
this edit that didn't actually use any of the content in this article. Un-redirect and send to AfD? Or turn into a list of Doctor Who episodes mentioning Mars? —

- Revert and send to AFD - It's not fair to try to get around the AfD process by sneaking into RfD instead. Doesn't make sense to do it this way. So do it right.

- Restore article, can be sent to AfD if desired. This existed for 14 years and has a lot of sources so requires discussion in appropriate venue to delete.

Seems unlikely as a redirect, and possibly erroneous, due to how unwieldy and
WP:PRECISE it is.

- I suspect this term as written appears in somewhere in the literature and was created for that purpose. Granted this was 13 years ago, but per Jay above, I think we should be careful about discounting redirects that seem on the surface like implausible search terms. This redirect likely serves some purpose, albeit limited.

Very vague. Per
Buffalo Niagara International Airport#Accidents and incidents, there have been lots of other plane crashes in Buffalo, New York alone, and there are many other places called
Buffalo

- Comment This is ambiguous as the nom states, and we don't have the correctly capitalized
Plane crash in Buffalo, but given the effect it had on commercial aviation in the U.S. and the fatalities, I would argue the current target would be the primary topic, and is a plausible search term. Also possible to simply retarget to
Buffalo Niagara International Airport#Accidents and incidents, if that captures all crashes in Buffalo, but that would still assume a user means Buffalo, New York. Note that we also have
Plane Crash in Queens (incorrectly capitalized in a different way), which in spite of there having been numerous plane crashes in Queens, the target of that redirect is probably what most users seek.

- I did see that redirect, but assumed it was referring to the documentary episode discussed at
American Airlines Flight 587#Documentaries, although in that case it should probably go to
List of Seconds from Disaster episodes#ep35 instead.

- Ah, that makes sense. Yeah that should be retargeted since it's referring to the episode and not the crash itself.

Unlikely title. Created by accident, from a page move of an article which was later deleted. —

- Comment, tilting toward delete: This character used to have his own article until
TTN merged it with the list of characters, until that was merged
Samurai Shodown (series) (itself later merged with the target article), then redirected back to a recreated character list and eventually back to the target via a series of fixed double redirects over the next couple years. There's a ton of other redirects from characters to this page-I've only checked a few of them and they seem to have also been articles. I need to go to bed before I do any further investigation. - Keep. I suspect the redirect target could probably be improved, but there's surely a list of characters somewhere (possibly in a relevant game article). It's harmless.

This doesn't make sense, as the term is only mentioned once peripherally – without any real further information being provided on the redirect lemma as such, though.

- Retarget: yes, good catch, this is actually in
Lothlórien#Geography, with more at
Lothlórien#Earthly paradise. Of course it's also on the edge of Rohan. The usual criterion, by the way, is simply that the term is mentioned; better is that it is situated, which this and all Middle-earth places are, but that is beyond the AfD requirement.
