An unlikely misspelling of the target, Assmar is also both a given name and a surname. I would thus suggest deletion. signed, Rosguill talk 18:47, 17 June 2020 (UTC) reply

  • Not a misspelling per se. This form is used by a (child) character in Lord of the Flies. But there are only three uses on Wikipedia, and Eduardo Assmar at List of senators in Brazil is the only one I'd say definitely meets WP:DABMENTION. Francisco de Melo is listed as a Count of Assmar, though his own article gives him as Count of Assumar. I don't know if the former is a misspelling or a valid alternate form. D&D has an Aasimar race. I'm leaning delete—these scraps don't add up to a disambiguation page. -- BDD ( talk) 18:56, 17 June 2020 (UTC) reply
  • Delete - Doesn't seem to be enough for a surname page or a dab page. The Lord of the Flies mention gets some google hits, but mostly on urban dictionary and the like. Hog Farm ( talk) 03:08, 18 June 2020 (UTC) reply
  • Weak keep or DAB. I surprise myself but saying it, but "assmar" does seem like a plausible phonetic transcription of "asthma" such as might be made by someone who doesn't know the spelling. I come across a surprising amount of people who don't know the spelling for the names of medical conditions and so resort to crude transcriptions or "egg corn" interpretations, such as Alzheimers as "old-timers" or Asperger's as "assburgers", even independently from different people on social media. Given this, it does not seem implausible that someone might type "assmar" into a search bar if they did not know the correct spelling. Given this, as redirects are cheap, it might as well remain unless there's an actual topic that warrants its own page, such as one of the names mentioned above if they are notable. BlackholeWA ( talk) 03:20, 18 June 2020 (UTC) reply
  • We need the redirect to stay now. This is a title in LOTF. We need it so someone thinking of LOTF doesn't get confused. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bernspeed ( talkcontribs) 20:26, 17 June 2020 (UTC) reply
  • Disambiguate Definitely not a strong retarget for asthma... at best, disambiguate with asthma maybe being one of the options. -- Micky ( talk) 23:11, 19 June 2020 (UTC) WP:SOCKSTRIKE -- Mdaniels5757 ( talk) 20:56, 23 June 2020 (UTC) reply

This is a something of a puzzle. Sannata is a 1981 film, and there's no sign of a remake. Sannata (TV series) aired in 2014, and wasn't a film. IMDb lists no 2013 film. Saba Qamar and Sajal Aly link to Sannata (2013 film); but neither has an IMDb entry. Delete, before my head explodes. Narky Blert ( talk) 19:23, 25 June 2020 (UTC) reply

Nothing in the target article discusses this term. I looked at the target article at the time this redirect was created, Faqash was not mentioned in that version either. I do not see any reason for this redirect. ~ GB fan 17:24, 25 June 2020 (UTC) reply

  • Speedy delete per WP:G10 as an attack page. This article and this Reddit post explain the term, based on them the context of this redirect seems to be an vulgar insult to the target. I can find only two other uses of the term on Wikipedia - both in comments left in 2016 that were interpreted as personal attacks (one at SPI, one on a user talk page) so we have nowhere to retarget it and there is no entry at Wiktionary either. While a dictionary definition would certainly be possible, encyclopaedic content would be harder and might need to be in a section of the article about Siad Barre or his regime, and given the usage of the term both would be best written by someone who is familiar with both the term and the topic area. So all that said I think speedy deletion as an attack page is best until we get content. Thryduulf ( talk) 17:41, 25 June 2020 (UTC) reply
  • Speedy delete per WP:G10 per Thryduulf. The top two hits in a Google search (non- WP:RS) were 1 ( Urban Dictionary) and (2) 2 ( Reddit), and they leave me in no doubt that the word is an ethnic slur. Narky Blert ( talk) 18:09, 25 June 2020 (UTC) reply

EJD is not mentioned anywhere on the target, it might refer to a former name "Edward Jones Dome", but that doesn't appear in google search results that I've seen so it's a guess. The prominent google hits are for European Joint Doctorate, European Junior Doctors Association and European Journal of Dermatology all of which might be notable but don't have articles along with a secondhand car dealership in Sheffield that is almost certainly not notable. On Wikipedia Ernst-Jürgen Dreyer, Elias Judah Durand and Edward John Drake appear in search results but may or may not be notably known by their initials? I'm not sure what is best here? The result of the discussion was keep -- JHunterJ ( talk) 11:31, 2 July 2020 (UTC) reply

The first redirect was a disambiguation page. There are 2 articles that used to be listed : London Underground C69 and C77 Stock and London Underground C Stock. The page was redirected to London Underground C69 and C77 Stock (for a second time) with edit summary "Most users will be looking for the more recent type of rolling stock, secondly, consisent with the D Stock article, which redirects to London Underground D78 Stock". That may be true, but appears to be inconsistent with current article titles. My opinion, repeated from the first time I reverted the change from a disambiguation page to a redirect, is that it doesn't seem reasonable to redirect this title to the one of the two entries that doesn't have "C stock" in the title. The second redirect under discussion is a similar situation. Perhaps some article renaming, and certainly hatnotes, would help? Shhhnotsoloud ( talk) 07:22, 25 June 2020 (UTC) reply
