Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games/Kingdom Hearts

Task force that never got off the ground. Only one edit to the main page, as well.

Suggest full deletion. Izno ( talk) 04:05, 6 May 2009 (UTC) reply

With one edit? The video game inactive project cleanup task force is working to clean up the Wikipedia space for topics in our purview. With only a single edit, which was largely a copy-paste, there's nothing historical about it. -- Izno ( talk) 23:47, 6 May 2009 (UTC) reply

  • Delete no evidence of substantive activity which would merit it's saving. John Carter ( talk) 14:50, 9 May 2009 (UTC) reply
  • Delete: Agree that the edit history is not substantial enough to keep. Also, the Kingdom Hearts articles are in pretty good shape and do not really need a task force to coordinate editing. I hate to say this because it was created in good faith, but it's mainly just taking up space right now. :-\ ( Guyinblack25 talk 17:40, 9 May 2009 (UTC)) reply
    • Deletion doesn't free up space. -- SmokeyJoe ( talk) 08:50, 15 May 2009 (UTC) reply
      • I'm aware of that; it was a description of its usefulness rather than an argument for deletion. ( Guyinblack25 talk 14:48, 15 May 2009 (UTC)) reply
  • Redirect to Talk:Kingdom Hearts and post a note there. Don't delete unless the creator, User:Contributor777, agrees to WP:CSD#G7. Lack of edit history shouldn't be a factor, it would be no different if it were created with ten edits. Convert to redirect as it is inactive and abandoned, as evident in lack of edits and lack of incoming links. -- SmokeyJoe ( talk) 08:50, 15 May 2009 (UTC) reply
    • I'm afraid I have to disagree with a redirect. Cross-space redirects are normally discouraged, especially ones like this that are unlikely search terms. Also, CSD#G7 is for speedy deletion, and the author's approval is not required for regular deletions. ( Guyinblack25 talk 14:48, 15 May 2009 (UTC)) reply
      • Mainspace-nonmainspace redirects are certainly discouraged. I don't know of anything about project space to talk space problems. Is anything about this written somewhere?
      • This page is ripe for CSD#G7. The author has been notified and is active. If he doesn't actively disagree, I'll support delete as per WP:SILENCE. -- SmokeyJoe ( talk) 08:17, 16 May 2009 (UTC) reply
        • There is no official guideline for this type of example to my knowledge, but I believe such a redirect might confuse some editors. ( Guyinblack25 talk 00:12, 17 May 2009 (UTC)) reply
