Apparently they thought so in Indonesia. See the google translation of the talk page: Google translation. They seem very earnest, but I don't know that this individual could ever meet notability. Perhaps it would be worth asking assistance from
Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Indonesia? They seem relatively active, and that google translation suggests that the contributor who made this page speaks English as well as I speak Indonesian. --

I guess we are really discussing deleting all of these pages, we should try to compile a complete list. Here's what I've got, please add anything I may have missed :
Delete - delete them all. Any internet search brings us back to wikipedia. There are no sources, no assertion of notability, and the
rambling chats in Indonesian has nothing to do with the encyclopedia - it's just chat.--

Comment: It may or may not be related but in searching I found
User:Anak Kalimantan, who, according to their
talk page was blocked for using the same i.p as
ANTI-GTT - who made those edits I mentioned above. (
January 23 dif) And these may, or may not be, related to
User:Rendy Marciano was was also blocked. Because of the amount of redirects and users who redirected and moved various pages to various other locations it is somewhat hard to track down exactly what is going on.

Note,
Pontianak has come up a lot in this web. For those who don't understand the Indonesian,
Pontianak is a city in
Kalimantan (the Indonesian part of Borneo) where this person says he is from. Anak Kalimantan means child of kalimantan. I repeat my suggestion to remove the whole tangled mess. there's nothing of note in the Indonesian text. --

Delete - User Merbabu is one of the more thorough members of the Indonesian project and I think that you can consider his responses sufficient to represent the project - the pages that I have looked at look like, to me - like adolescent vanity pages that fortunately have not hit the main space - and should be considered that english wikipedia is not a storage space for personal vanity/blog material - and should be considered part of the recent increase of usage by indonesian speaking editors on mainspace - who from the evidence so far really should be at id and not en

Keep, think first before you voted DELETE, DELETE and DELETE! You are not Indonesian, so you don't know what's the case. id.wikipedia's administrators just told them a hoax. I feel so mad with their labeling! Once again, think first!

Keep, as the
Khuntien Ngin's partner, i just want to say, no hoax in these cases. I know, GTT has not a reliable sources, but it is not a hoax. They are not a vigilante gang like what you talking about.

So they are admitting there are no resources. THis whole thing should be closed immediately. More than enough leeway has been given. How can someone write so much and not have a single source. What a joke. --

The 3-minute time difference confirms to me that these two jokers are one in the same. Who needs a "partner" on wikipedia. THeir user pages are almost clones of the other. What waste of time. --

Comment - from the response above it would appear that the creator of the material has no idea of what
WP:NOT might mean - and the material needs to be removed asap

Keep unless positively shown to be a hoax, there is no requirement for "notability" in userspace. If positively shown to be a hoax, speedy delete of course.

Perhaps you could elaborate how a story (in Indonesian) about a non-notable teenager in Jakarta that its writer admits has no sources benefits the encyclopedia?--
Merbabu (

There is no requirement that a userspace page "benefit" the encyclopedia -- essays on non-notable people violate no rules. AndI know of no rule barring foreign languages from userspace -- if such there is, please tell me.

Well, there is the policy at
WP:NOTWEBHOST: "
Wikipedians have their own
user pages, but they may be used only to present information relevant to working on the encyclopedia. If you are looking to make a personal webpage or
blog or to post your resume, please make use of one of the many free providers on the Internet or any hosting included with your Internet account." (Not that this is related to the use of other languages, but it is a rule about the benefit of userspace pages.) --
Moonriddengirl(talk)19:05, 31 January 2009 (UTC)reply
I'm inclined to agree with Moonriddengirl, this is a bunch of
made up bullshit and "chatting" not related in any way to developing an actual article, and no attempt has been made to make it readable in English, so even if it wasn't a ball of lies, it has no place on the en.Wikipedia. Also, asking that it be "positively shown to be a hoax" is asking for proof of a negative. If there are no sources proving any of this, what are the chances there are sources disproving it. The point here is that these pages are an abuse of Wikipedia. They serve no purpose relating to the encyclopedia, but rather are vanity pages for some kids who have never made a single actual contribution to the project but have created all this crap that belongs on MySpace or a chat room.

Delete all. The vast majority of this user's editing activity is to these pages - I count two trivial mainspace edits and a few edits to other users' talk pages, but the activity is concentrated here. Creating articles in your userspace is not an acceptable way to make an end-run around article inclusion criteria. The fact that these articles are all being written in a non-English language makes it clear that this is never intended to be moved to article space, either — creating drafts of articles in userspace is an acceptable approach, but only if the article is intended to be moved out of userspace eventually.

Delete. Let me introduce myself, i'm CHJL who live in Jakarta. I have never heard about Rendy Marciano, Group of The Truth or sth., maybe they are part of students in one school only, and than, they publish the drafts use Indonesian that i know they are just totally hoaxes and not including any important things. I think it likes a juvenile deliquency, Wikipedia is a place for educational articles, not a self-promotion place.
