The result of the discussion was No consensus - the draft isn't so old as to be clearly abandoned, and if there's a case to be made that this isn't a good faith attempt to create a legitimate article for the encyclopaedia, it hasn't been made here. Merely being "unlikely" to meet WP:N isn't a reason not to give a serious editor substantial latitude to try in their sandbox. Deleting just creates needless work for us suckers who've listed ourselves in Category:Wikipedia administrators who will provide copies of deleted articles. (Note that although Egon Eagle hasn't !voted in the usual format, I'm counting them as a keep voice, considering.) Wily D 09:15, 8 February 2013 (UTC) reply

WP:STALEDRAFT from August. The only sources in the draft are Oh Internet and TV Tropes, neither of which are reliable. I suggested over a month ago that this is very unlikely to become a viable article; the creator asked if I could help him come up with better sourcing, which I was unable to do beyond one local fluff piece. tl;dr: no way is this ever becoming an article. The Irate Gamer should be notable, he is a famous copycat of The Angry Video Game Nerd, many fans of AVGN don't like The Irate Gamer, he has many subscribers on YouTube and probably a YouTube Partner. Egon Eagle ( talk) 11:29, 27 January 2013 (UTC) reply
None of which is an assertation of notability. He must have independent secondary sources. Several of them. And stuff like Oh Internet and TV Tropes don't count. Ten Pound Hammer( What did I screw up now?) 14:13, 27 January 2013 (UTC) reply
  • I am assuming that the topic has some potential, which may be incorrect. Generally, I wish for users to manage their own userspace appropriately, which includes blanking at least borderline non-notable promotional material, but also to be clear that if they do not then we'll delete the page. This was a good nomination. -- SmokeyJoe ( talk) 22:08, 31 January 2013 (UTC) reply
I added the characters and episodes sections in the article recently, if the article would be notable I would working more. Egon Eagle ( talk) 22:54, 31 January 2013 (UTC) reply
