Welcome to the THIRD Global Women of Color Write-In event! We are a hybrid event (a virtual event with in-person meeting nodes) that encourages everyone to write entries about women from around the world into Wikipedia and to improve existing entries on these topics. We are supported by the
Postcolonial Digital Humanities Rewriting Wikipedia Project and the
Global Outlook on Digital Humanities Special Interest Group of the Association for Digital Humanities Organizations. Our first #GWWI meeting was on April 2013 and our second #GWWI meeting was on March 2014. Join us October 20th-23rd 2014 for our THIRD #GWWI meeting !
Additionally, #GWWI 3 is dedicated to the memory of
Adrianne Wadewitz , an active Wikipedia in higher education advocate and a leader in the movement to improve the content on women in Wikipedia.

Global Women Write-In by the Rewriting Wikipedia Project
Event : An edit-a-thon/write-in! Learn how to contribute to Wikipedia and collaborate with others to write about topics related to women of color (not of European descent) around the world.
