What, Where, When, and How?
When? : Saturday, October 23, 2010 — 6 p.m. until it ends (definite!) A la carte, payment due that that night. It is highly recommended to pay using cash.
The meetup is the same weekend as MediaWiki Hack-A-Ton, which is in DC and bringing in developers and Wikimedia staff.
Bertucci's is in a GWU university building and is 100% accessible for the disabled.
Maps and info
To get there from Metro's red line, you will have to change from the red line to the orange/blue line at Metro Center. You need to take the orange/blue line in the direction of Vienna.
To get there from Metro's green or yellow line, you should change to the orange/blue line at L'Enfant Plaza, and get the orange/blue line in the direction of Vienna.
If coming from Virginia, you can take either the orange or blue line directly to the Foggy Bottom station.
Ride a bike to the meetup! There is a Capital Bikeshare station across the street from Bertucci's (outside TGI Fridays at 21 & I St) and plenty of bike racks around if you ride your own bike.
If you drive, there is a parking garage at 2000 Pennsylvania Avenue,
[1]. The parking garage entrance is on 20th St NW. Street (meter) parking is also available.
Here (pdf) is a GWU campus map, which shows individual buildings. Bertucci's is located in #97 on the map.
Agenda
Although we will be eating, we may give sometime for people to speak and discuss about:

Sad you can't come but understand. When is your winter break? We certainly can schedule another meetup for then. --

I will be around between the December 18 and January 6 when I go over to the UK for 6 months to study abroad. Their is some discussion of doing another Wikipedia Ambassador training that first week in January, so I will definitely be around for part of that. That would be a good time to schedule another meetup as well to allow the Ambassadors to begin interacting with the community. We should have a firmer idea of when it is going to be sometime in November, so we can start planning then.

Wow, sounds awesome to spend 6 months in the UK, but we will miss you. Would December 19th work for DC Meetup #13? --

Thanks. It should be fine for me but you may want to talk around to others too. I should be around most of that time unless I am doing anything Wikipedia Ambassador related (such as training).
