Ace Hotel in Manhattan (the after party is optional but will be fun). Please
RSVP. Be prepared to take part in an informal presentation about our Wikipedia archival project. I am not yet sure what time our presentation will be scheduled, so please also let me know about your availability on that day.

Start a Google Doc or other online journal for your reading notes. Take down any quotes that you think might be useful to add to a Wikipedia entry, and also jot down some of your thoughts/impressions.

How to write a paragraph - Pick a paragraph from research you are doing. Paste it with citation in your Google Docs journals, and paraphrase from it. Make sure to use in-text citation or signal phrase, whatever is appropriate.
Think about mapping out the structure of our entry - what sections should it have. Take a look at these
examples for ideas, as well as the tables of contents on the books you have been reading.
Choose a research area to focus on if you haven't already. We need someone to cover public health, outreach, education, impact on other communities/industries (i.e. New York City in the art world, theater, fashion, religious and other communities, etc.)
