I had the front cover of the 1999 live recording of Sarah McLachlan's I Will Remember You undeleted and then reinserted. Because the rules discourage more than one front cover of the same song by the same artist, we shall go for either the original 1995 single or the 1999 live single. In Canada, the song, both studio and live, was promo-only, though the original was charted. In the US, the song was released in singles, both versions charted. I was basing the images on the commercial releases in the US rather than Canada. Although I oversaw the chart history of Canada, I felt that live one was more significant, especially when it was used to tribute to JFK Jr's death. I could use the Canadian promo to indicate McLachlan's origins and intended target, but I prefer commercial one instead. However, the original US single wasn't as successful as the live US one. @ George Ho, when you say the early version wasn't as successful, is it by orders of magnitude? If so, that would be a case for using the latter. Otherwise I'd go with the former as the original. I don't have a complete sense of which version of the release was most consequential, and I'd traditionally go to the sourcing for that to see whether one release was orders of magnitude more popular/successful than another. Usually we go with the most iconic (usually original) artwork unless there's a reason against. In any event, I'd just pick one, unless you need a third party opinion in a content dispute. It sounds like you're leaning towards the 1999 version, which went higher in the Hot 100 singles chart. That's fine. I don't know why the logo of the first Final Fantasy game is necessary outside the infobox, which retains the North American release of the original NES game. The article doesn't mention the logo at all. Reliable sources of the drawn logo (not the familiar typeface logo) are nowhere to be found. This logo is shadowing an almost identical logo on Commons that is tagged as free under Ukraine law which doesn't grant copyright on "symbols and signs of enterprises". The main question would be whether a separate copyright would be granted in the US when the logo created elsewhere can't be copyrighted in that other country for reasons other than originality. • Per [1], PD-ineligible in the source country does not imply PD-ineligible in the United States, at least not if it isn't a government work which possibly could be argued to be PD-self by the government. No problem with this but the new file is misnamed. It shows the Wilsons coat of arms not the crest. I am also the person responsible for cleaning up the original scan in Photoshop and substituting a new version of the salient wolf on the shield, which was taken from an old Wilson's School shield owned by the school CCF. This nonfree logo is used in two articles. Each use does have a separate rationale. It's use in the article on the developer is fine as this is the logo for that company. However, its use in the Mortal Kombat (2011 video game) article is decorative. It is being used to identify the developer, but that can be done with a link to the developer article which includes the logo.
