Peterhof cascade is one of the greatest of St.Petersburg's landmarks, and is very important part of Russian history. The picture is well taken. It is not blurry, sharp, and high resolution.

Oppose. Blown-out sky.

Oppose, same reason. It's a nice image apart from that, but it's probably safe to say that this nomination should be aborted now - no image with pure white sky like that would ever be promoted.

Oppose As Steveage says, overexposed sky. The piece of very pale blue sky on the left proves that it was not actually a pure white sky -

Oppose per above. Also, the trees on the left exhibit some
purple fringing. --

Oppose. Sorry, great image otherwise, but per above. --Tewy 04:24, 17 August 2006 (UTC)reply
Oppose Completely overexposed sky, too bad nice subject.

Comment A blue sky would really set the building out. I know it's not always possible. Also taken at a time of day when the sun is not really intense, but a blue sky is still visible is good. --
